Block Tank interior, from my book series - Androids of War.
Building the interior set for the Block Tank.
It was only after I built this that I decided I needed an interior to tell the story I wanted.
Proportion wise, it had to be the same size and layout as the exterior which made it very crammed and difficult to get a camera in to shoot it.
This had to look very industrial and not a comfortable place to be, but probably fine if you are a robot.
The commander sits high at the back just under the turret and has his own controls up there.
There are two drivers at the front and to save room, their consoles fold up when they are parked.
The exit is via a large hatch in the side.

Some shots looked into the interior from outside so it was important that basic structures look like they match.
All the sides are floating so I can get in to take different angle shots of the characters.
